Important Disclosures

Effective date: August 4 2026

Advisory in nature. EmTav engagements produce analysis, recommendations, and planning documents. They are advisory. Replacement, budget, procurement, staffing, remediation, and compliance decisions remain with the client. EmTav does not make purchasing decisions, does not perform clinical work, does not service or maintain equipment, and does not represent or guarantee any regulatory, accreditation, or survey outcome.

Planning-level estimates, not quotations. Every cost figure EmTav produces — replacement value, capital exposure, deferral cost, or avoided premium — is a planning-level estimate developed for budgeting and prioritization. These are not quotations, not procurement pricing, and not offers, and actual results will differ.

How our benchmarks are sourced. Useful-life ranges, clinical criticality classification, and end-of-support definitions are anchored to published healthcare finance and clinical engineering standards, cross-checked where possible against manufacturer-published service life. The specific standards relied upon are cited by name in each deliverable, so that any figure can be traced to its source and challenged. Published standards are periodically revised, and EmTav updates its references as they change.

Where our judgment begins. The factor weights in the EmTav Replacement Readiness Score are EmTav's documented professional judgment. They are disclosed in full in every deliverable, are adjustable by the client, and are not presented as an industry standard. Where a scoring input cannot be computed from the data a client provides, the substitution or exclusion is documented in the deliverable rather than applied silently.

Dependence on client data. EmTav's analysis is performed on data supplied by the client. Findings, scores, and estimates reflect the quality and completeness of that data. Where records are incomplete, inconsistent, or unverifiable, that limitation is identified in the deliverable, and it constrains the conclusions that can be drawn from it.

No protected health information. EmTav does not request, receive, or process protected health information. Engagements run on equipment records and maintenance history only. This commitment is bilateral and contractual, and no Business Associate Agreement is required or accepted.

No vendor relationships. EmTav holds no manufacturer, service-provider, or platform reseller relationship, and accepts no referral fee, commission, or revenue share from any vendor. We disclose this so that a reader of an EmTav assessment knows exactly what interests do and do not sit behind its findings.

Independence of findings. EmTav's compensation is the engagement fee alone and does not vary with the conclusions reached, the volume of equipment identified for replacement, or any resulting procurement.

Client confidentiality. EmTav does not publish client names, logos, data, or case studies without written permission. The absence of client references on this site is deliberate.
